Evesha Kenlyn, MD, MPH is a fellowship-trained Interventional Pain Physician specializing in the management of chronic pain through minimally invasive techniques. Born and raised in Montego Bay, Jamaica, she moved to Nantucket, Massachusetts as a teenager before relocating to Georgia for her higher education. She earned an undergraduate degree in Biology from Spelman College, graduating with honors. She then pursued a Doctor of Medicine degree from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta. She also holds a Master of Public Health in Behavioral Sciences and Health Education from Emory University.
After finishing her residency in Anesthesiology at Emory University School of Medicine, Dr. Kenlyn completed an ACGME-accredited Interventional Pain Medicine fellowship at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell in New York City where she was trained in advanced neuromodulation and interventional spine procedures.
Dr. Kenlyn specializes in treating a variety of pain conditions including chronic back and neck pain resulting from degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, arthritis, and post-surgical pain. She is also highly experienced in managing neuropathic pain, cancer-related pain, complex regional pain syndrome, and headaches. Dr. Kenlyn utilizes a comprehensive range of advanced, minimally invasive procedures to relieve pain as well as epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks, and radiofrequency ablation.
Dr. Kenlyn’s practice philosophy emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care. She is committed to addressing not only the physical aspects of pain but the emotional and psychological impact it has on her patients’ lives. By providing personalized care and spending quality time with each patient, Dr. Kenlyn strives to develop treatment plans that improve functionality and enhance their quality of life.
Dr. Kenlyn's dedication to medical innovation and patient care extends to her research in pain management and her involvement in public health initiatives. She has published research on disparities in healthcare, particularly in pain management, and presented her findings at national medical conferences. Her leadership in healthcare extends beyond her clinical work, having spearheaded many projects aimed at enhancing healthcare access for underserved communities.
