Sushanth Boda, DO, is a double board-certified physician in Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology. He is based in Newnan, GA and treats patients from the surrounding Metro-Atlanta communities and neighboring states. He is committed to helping his patients regain control of their lives and live without the burden of chronic pain.

Dr. Boda’s journey to becoming a trusted pain management specialist began with his education at the University of Michigan, where he earned dual degrees in Biology and Evolutionary Anthropology. He then attended Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by a residency in Anesthesiology at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago, where he served as Chief Resident during his final year. Dr. Boda went on to complete an Interventional Pain Fellowship at NYU Langone Health in New York City, a top-ranked medical institution in the U.S.

Dr. Boda combines his extensive training with a compassionate, patient-centered approach to medical care. He firmly believes that aging shouldn’t mean living with persistent pain and works closely with each patient to create a personalized treatment plan tailored to their individual needs. Dr. Boda specializes in offering minimally invasive, opioid-free therapies that address the root causes of pain, with a particular focus on alleviating back and neck pain, arthritis, post-surgical pain, and neuropathy. His goal is to provide lasting relief that helps patients return to the activities they love—whether it’s traveling, picking up their grandchildren, returning to the golf course, or simply enjoying daily life without being held back by pain.

Dr. Boda’s commitment to excellence doesn’t stop with his patients. He is an active member of multiple medical societies and stays up to date on the latest advances in pain management and interventional techniques. Dr. Boda is dedicated to pushing the field forward, constantly learning and presenting at both regional and national conferences. Outside of work, Dr. Boda enjoys spending time with his wife, supporting his Michigan Wolverines (Go Blue!), and staying active by playing in local tennis and pickleball leagues.
